Title

Title

Woman, I would have been your son,  to drink
the milk from your breasts like a spring,
to see you and feel you at my side, and hold
in the laughter of gold and crystal voice.
To feel you in my veins like God in rivers
to adore you and in the sad bones and lime powder,
because you happen to be by my side without penalty
and left in the stanza - clean of all evil -.

- Pablo Neruda
